An incredible career opportunity has become available as the Manager of Projects - Power Products for a leading global electrical organisation. This organisation specialises in power and automation technologies within the industrial and utility sectors and has a strong focus on safety and the environment. 

 

Role:

Based in Sydney, you will responsible for leading and directing the Project Management team for Modular Systems. This will involve providing strategic direction for the team and business unit, leading and directing a team of 5 to 6 project managers whilst overseeing all projects which individually can range up to $100 Million.

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

 

-         An Electrical Engineering Degree or An Electrical Trade Background

-         PMP or similar project management accreditation (not essential)

-         Experience with project management techniques, SAP or other ERP systems and financial reporting

-         Experience as a Project Manager in the electrical sector on projects valuing greater than $20 Million

-         Experience leading and directing other project managers

-         Ability to deliver and lead large scale projects on time and under budget

-         Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel  

-         Excellent time management skills

-         Strong business acumen, strategic focus and budgeting skills

-         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
